Description
A very rare Barbaresco, made of 100% Nebbiolo Rosé, sourced from our youngest Barbaresco vineyard planted back in 1998 to celebrate the passage of the vineyards and the winery from Piero Taverna to his son Roberto (the current owner). The vineyard is in mid hill of Cottà MGA, facing West. Its size (0.18 ha) limits the production of this wine to a maximum of 1300 bottles. The vinification is performed in a stainless steel vat without temperature control and lasts 22 days with regular pump-overs and punch-downs. Aging in new French oak tonneau (500 l) for 24 months.
