The crushed granite soils of Gallura are ideal for draining and endow Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG – the pinnacle of all Vermentinos – with enriched complexity and minerality. The microclimate is superb, influenced as it is by the vast Lake Liscia and the island’s second highest mountain, Limbara. Temperatures, ventilation and exposure provide fantastic conditions, prolonging the grapes’ time on the vine and allowing them to absorb and produce intense, complex aromas. 100% Vermentino from a single vineyard. Manual harvest is around late September and crops are small.
