Description
From 10 to 30-year-old vines on clayey-calcareous soil. Vine density is 6,000 per hectare; training is the spur-pruned cordon. After temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration for 12-15 days, with daily pumpovers then wine is aged in oak barrels for 6 months.
Brilliant ruby colour, elegant bouquet of violets, berry fruit and iris confirmed on a soft, round, well balanced palate showing good body, fruity flavours and intensity. An all-around food wine to match first courses, red and white meat, cheese.
