LE CAREZZE S.R.L.

Our project started 30 years ago when the owner, Mr. Luigi Marangoni, bought the 30-hectar estate and started to restore the biodiversity of the environment. During the next years, many species have come back both animal and vegetal ones. In the 11-hectar vineyard we grow Merlot, Istrian Malvasia, Palava (a white grape coming from Moravia, Traminer X Muller-Thurgau). The winery is betting on PIWI varieties (resistant to fungal diseases), which do not need sulphur and copper in the vineyard. PIWIs are becoming more and more interesting in the market as SUPER-ORGANIC products.
