The name of the company derives from a milestone that refers to the IV Roman Mile, a Roman unit of measurement that marks the distance between the city of Pozzuoli and the current Quarto. The Verde family, the heart of the company, has been cultivating the art of wine for 4 generations, expressing refinement, elegance, respecting and enhancing a volcanic, fertile and rich land. The uniqueness of the Phlegraean territory is still manifested today in its originality given by 2700 years of imported Greek vines still in activity today, all pre-phylloxera vines that give life to unique wines.
